Apartment common-area solar — Whitefield — Whitefield, Bangalore
System size: 10 kW · Commissioned: Completed · Residential

The situation
A 24-flat apartment association in Whitefield was carrying a heavy common-area bill — two lifts, borewell and pressure pumps, STP blowers, corridor and basement lighting, all running through the day and billed to maintenance. The terrace doubled as drying and utility space, so the association did not want it lost to panels.
What we installed
A 10 kW grid-tied system on an elevated steel canopy across the terrace, which keeps the usable space and shaded parking below and cuts heat ingress into the top-floor flats. The array feeds the common-area meter through a string inverter with dedicated AC/DC protection, surge arrestors and an earthing grid. We handled the association paperwork, structural clearance and BESCOM net metering for the common-area connection.
The result
The system produces around 1,200 units a month against common-area consumption, cutting that portion of the maintenance bill by roughly 60% and giving the association a predictable cost for the next two decades.
