Punarvasu Graphics — printing unit — Bengaluru, Bangalore
System size: 40 kW · Commissioned: Completed · Commercial

The situation
Punarvasu Graphics runs printing and finishing machinery on a single day shift — presses, compressors, cutting and lamination equipment all pulling together, which pushed both energy charges and demand charges up. The shed roof had a large uninterrupted span available, but sheet condition and purlin spacing needed checking before anything was mounted on it.
What we installed
A 40 kW grid-tied system on the shed roof. We used non-penetrative clamp mounting matched to the existing roof profile so the sheeting is never drilled and there is no leak risk, with the layout aligned to purlin lines for load transfer. The array feeds through string inverters into the plant's main panel, with dedicated AC protection, lightning and surge protection and a full earthing grid. Net metering was filed with BESCOM and the plant now runs machinery off solar first during shift hours.
The result
The 40 kW array generates in the region of 4,800 units a month, cutting the share of grid units consumed during production hours substantially.
